of the brain, upon this supervened symptoms of fever of which he died.

apparent that Mr Pope has fallen
a victim to his zeal
in the performance
of his Official duties,
his Medical advisers
were
constrained to repress in his last illness, and which stopped the pro-
gress of natural efforts at
convalescence
