In confirmation of the facts above stated, Memorialist has applied for Certificates to the Colonial Secretary, the Purveyor General and the Medical attendants, which having been kindly promised will be attached to this Memorial.
He complained of headache, signs of fever subsequently appeared which rendered Medical assistance necessary. Under the care of the Colonial Surgeon Mr. Young he rallied at first, but finally sunk and expired on the 24th December.
Memorialist hopes that his application will be approved by His Excellency Sir J. F. Davis Bart through whom they are forwarded, and the statements therein confirmed by this personal knowledge of the facts.
