ANGLO-GERMAN RELATIONS.
LONDON, Dec. 5.
In the Reichstag, Dr. Bethmann- Hollweg, the Imperial Chancellor, made a long and temperate atatement raplying to Sir Edward Grey's recent speech in the House of Commons. He sa Germany's action was prompted by the Anglo- French disposition to settle the Morocco question by themselves, and if this had occasioned British warlike preparations Germany was not responsible for it. He gladly shared Sir Edward Gray's hope for better Anglo-German relations, but these were only attainable if British policy showed some positive evidence of goodwill.
