Costs, these however I got Mr. Buck to pay. I have had considerable trouble with this case, besides having paid eighteen dollars fees — if by the letter N.166 (which I may remark was written before any legal proceedings were thought of, as they were not instituted until nine months after its date) I am not entitled to my costs from the Crown, I am sure His Excellency will not allow fifty-five dollars and fifty cents by these fees from the Supreme Court. And I must note that His Excellency will not overlook the time and trouble I have had in the collection of these cents when over eighty dollars were paid into the Treasury within a very short period.
I have, &c.
