This great waterfall will be harzemes so an to operate huge turbines, the capacity of which for producing electrical energy ill be limited only by the amount of water released from the lake.

The cheap power thus provided will be used on a large scale to operate the iron mines in Northern Tasmania, and the lead, copper, tin, and afliver deposits of the West, with the result that the Colony will soon become one of the loading manufacturing centres in the Common- wealth. The
