BROOKLANDS SELANGOR RUBBER COMPANY, The directors bave issued a circular stating that the managing director has sent his final report for the financial year just passed, which the directors consider very salisfactory. In conelading his report Mr. Gibson writes: The property is developing highly satisfactorily. The growth of the old rubber and coffee is ez wellent, the young aléarings that were plated in 1910 and early this year are showing quita fair growth. The whole area is clean and ju good order, and well drained, and the progress of work roughly may be considered to be 100 acres a month, which is good progress.
The soil is opening up well; the labour fores is on a satisfactory footing health is of the best in this exceptionally favoured district. The prospool for future derol ment is good. The growth of rubber on the property is up to a high standard and the future prospects of the company are of the brightest. A good deal of hurd work has been accomplished and there is a lot of hard work to do, and if the smo rate of
maintained the 3,000 progress acres of the company may be under cultivation duing the Bnancial year just entered, constitut ing one of the best records in the Eat.
NEW CAPITAL ISSUES. Subscriptions are invited for shares in the Pontian (Malay) Rubber Company, which has on authorized ospital of £50,000 divided into 50,000 shares of £1 enot. The present isme |comprises 40,000 shares at par, of which 10,000 shares will bo sletted to the vendors a fully paid and the remaining 30,000 abares are offered for subscription, lustalmenta aloiting to 108. per share will be payable by September 30, 1915, and the remaining 10%. per share will probably be called up during 1913. 1914, and 1915, in instalments not exceeding 23. 6d. saeb. The vendors guarantee dividends at the rate of 5 per cent, per auma on the amounts for the time being paid up on the 30,000 shares now offered for subscription.
