Lord Haldane reiterated the hops that the two parties would co-operate in the matter of reform and of the necessity of firet passing the Veto Bill. Lord Lansdowse's Bill was a great stap torward. To that extent there was a messure of agreement. They certainly would not divide against the Bill. It might, however, be a long journey before the reconstitution necessary in order to repair and make stable the fabrio of the constitution was complated.
