RUBBER COMPANIES.

THE STRAITS RUBBER COMPANY,

The report of the Company for the year 1910 etutes that tho sees ander rabber has been increased by 183 acres on Gedong Estate, and 142 meres on Novn Sentia estate. The total orop of rubber harvested in 1910 amounted to 402 621b. After deducting freight, insurance, landing, and all sale charges. the average net priso realized for the rubber was 6s, 4.98d ib. The cast of production £o.b. was just ever le, 100 per lb. of rubber. The crepe for 1911 is

estimated by the manager at 656,646lb., and u the quantity kurvasted for the first three months was 187,6271b, there is good resson to hope that the official estimate will be consid- erably arooled. After writing off the whole of the preliminary oxpousse, and reserving £250 for income tax, the profit amounts to £83,470. The directors recommend a final dividend of 164 por cont. (making 24 per cent. For the year), and carry forward £2,123.

SUNGEI KAPAR RUBBER CO, The annual reportatates that, including the balance of £6,333 brought forward, there £61,598. The directors recom-. in aprofit mead that £5,00 he carried to reserve fund, and that a final dividend be paid of 30 per cent., making 55 per cent, for the year, leaving a balance of £4.806 to be carried forward, The output of rabber sineuated to 224,97816., for which an average price of 6s. 9.31d. per b. was obtained. The estimated erop for the current year is 300,000lb. Thoro was an outbreak of cholera in July, 1910, which, however, was promptly stamped out. Last year a dividend of 323 por rant. was paid.

CONSOLIDATED MALAY. RESULTS.

The Consolidated Malay Rubber Estates did very well last year to pay 100 per cent to its shareholders, that comparing with a distribu tion of 80 per cent, for 1909. Includiar the amount brought in, the net profit for the year is £18,9/2
