INDIA'S OPIUM REVENUE.

Calcatta, February 1st. -At the sala of opium to-day the result was as follows: 1,260 chests of Bihar opium fetched as the highest figura Rs. 3.485, and as the lowest R 3.480; the average price was Rs. 3 481-3-8. The total perccede were Rs. 43,86,350. For 1,360 chesta of Benares opium the uniform price was Rs. 3,400 chest. The total 2,620 chosts were sold at a general average of Rs. 3,436-1-0, realising Rs. 910350.
