I have the honor to acknowledge receipt of your Communication covering
documents relative to an accident which occurred to a Salt Sunk on this river on the
evening of the 29. Ultimo, all of which have met with a careful perval;
My opinion on the matter in question is, that the Salt Sunk being
at anchor the blame must attach to the "Corsair "Steamer .
