The British sir. Teas reports: Leaving Manils on the 28th Jane experienced moderate to freak winds from SSR to W. and confused son until the curing of the 1st July, when the weather got very thick and rainy and several hours was lost through having to reduce speed on account of this thick weather,

The British str. Fookeany reports: Ex. perienced very strong S.W., S. and B.E. winds, with rough sea: after clearing Formosa Chan- , wonther thick with very heavy rain. Bər troen Oskset and Breaker Point, experienced long ust-to N.N.W. espoolally between the Lammocks and Breaker Point, when it was about 23 knots strong. Farometor below Nor- mal.
