ALLEGED FORONRY OF A WILL Wong Ink Bhu was indicted on two counte charging him with forging and uttering a will. The Hon. Mr. F. A Haseinad (Acting Atterasy. General), Instructed by Mr. Bowley, Crown. Solicitor, conducted the prosecution, and My 14 Blade, instructed by Mr. F. d'Almada, appeared for the defense.

The following jury were empanelled: Messrs. J. Witchell (foreman), J. J. Robson, EVM.B. de Bous, W. E. Clarke, E. Lerring, 8. D. Hickis and A. Jacrand.

The Attorney-General, in opening the onno for the Crown, said that the prisoner was the fifth brother of Wong Chern Shu, the deceased, who died on the 6th September at Konkong, a place on the West River. Application for probate. of the will produced had been made to the B- preme Court, and one of the doomante necessary to submit was the affidavit with respect to the dre execution of the will. As was known, every will must be signed by the testator and by two witnessca in the presence of eschi other. That might not apply to a Chinese will, but in the present case the English practice was followed.
