Mr. Frank Brown, Government Analyst, was recalled, and re-examined by Ms. Bowley. He brandy contained a small quantity of alkaline said he did not agree with the statement that if the standard of ethers would be reduced. He was acquainted with the brandy prosecution which took place in London in 1908 after the publication of the paper referred to by Mr. Hastings.
