To-day, being a Public Holiday the Post Office will be open for one hour only is. 8 to 9 mm. All the outgoing mails will be closed at 9 am. There will be one delvery and a collection of laiters as on Eundays. The Money Order Olos will be entirely cload on the 12th inat.

The Tonkin with the French mall of the 12th Marcb, left Saigon on Friday, the 8th inst., at 2 p.m., and may be expected hers-to-day. This packet brings replies to Tatters dispatched from Hongkong on the 6th February.

The M.M. str. Tonkin with the French Mail of the 14th nit., and mails from London of the 13th alt, will leave Saigch, on Friday the 9th inst. at 2 p.m., and may be expected to arrive here this morning, and will leave for Shanghai and Japan on the sime afternoon.

THE CANADIAN MAIL.

The C.P.R. str. Empress of China arrived Yokohama at 8 am, on Friday the 9th instant, and left again at 3 p.m. same day for Nagasaki where she was due to arrive at noon yesterday. THE INDIAN VAIL

The Indo-Chino str. Namsang from Calcutta and the Straits loft Singapore for this port on the 8th inst.

The C.N. Co. str. Nanchang is expected to leave Newchwang on the 7th inst, and is due here on the 14th inst

Tho NYK: str. Kagerhima Maru, (Bombay Liue) left Singapore for this port on the 7th instant and is expected here on the 14th inst.

The C.N. Co.'s str Sengkiang is expected to leave Iloilo on the 13th inst, and is dus here on the 17th inst.

The G.N.str. Afinnesota arrived at Yokohama ou the 4th inet, she will leave Yokohama on the 7th inst. for Hongkong via Kobe, Nagasaki Shanghai and Manda, and may be expected' here on or aboat the 24th inst.

The CN. Co.'s str Taiyuan left Sydney on the 3rd inst., and is due here on the 26th inst.
