In conclusion the outgoing Sab-Committee regret this general decline in the rowing section of the Clab, and, would arge a combined effort on the part of the members to raiso this sport to its old standard. As a stop in this direction we consider that the appointment of an active Rowing Captain is most desirable. We are pleased to acknowledge the services of the outgoing Rowing Captain, but we think the position of Rowing Captain is sufficiently im- portant to justify it being the chief ofice of any member at one time.
