PROCLAMATION.
Whereas the Commands of Her Most Gracions Majesty the QUEEN have been received through the Principal Secretary of State for the Colonies, disallowing Ordinance No. 4 of 1844, intituled, An Ordinance to restrain Masters of Merchant Vessels belonging to Her Majesty's Subjects from leaving Seamen and others in a destitute State in the Colony of Itongkong, and from refusing to convey distressed Seamen from thence to England; and also to provide for the good Conduct of Seamen within the same;"--Notice is hereby given of the same, and the provisions of that Ordinance, are declared to be null and void, and of no effect.
