The bearing of the charges against Sheung Ta Hing for attempt to murder, and attempt to do grievous bodily harm was concluded. Bir Heary Barkeley for the defence sought to show that the defendant was attacked by the maneger of the shop and the accountant, who wished to get rid of him gud that he wounded them in self-defence.
The jury after, a short absenes returned s verdict of guilty on the third count, fatent to do griseous bodily harm, and his Lordship sentenced him to live years' penul servitude.
