informed, from the Office of the Officiating Colonial Treasurer, to the Hends of Deparments, intimating that the Bank
of the Oriental Bank can-not be received at the Colonial Treasury in
Notes
collected
on account
payment of moneys of Government by Departmental Officers, I take the liberty of addressing you on
the
subject with a view to the matter being brought before H. & the Governor for his favorable consideration.
The Notes of the Bank have
been in circulation since the end.
