MARING INSURANCE SHARES.—Uniona kavo. sellers at 3790; other stocks under this heading are unchanged and without sales,

FIRE INSURANCE SHARES-A small lot of Hongkongs changed hands at #315, and more hares ste wanted. A few Chisnis sold at $93.

SHIPPING SHARES-Hongkong, Cauton and Macao Steamboat shares sold and are on offer at $291, but st $29 shares might be plaosd; this Company has purchased the s.. Hot Banga locally built bost of 457 tons gross. She has been placed in the hands of her builders, who constructed her in 1906, for a general overbaut and some alterations, and as soon as these have been effected, which will be in a few weeks, sha will be turned over to the Hongkong, Csaton and Macao Steambost Company, to be employed on the Maono-Canton Hine. We hear that she is well adapted for the trado, and that's son- dition of the purchase is further, that her sister ship, the 8.8. Zlo Ming, which used to run on the Macao-Hongkong line, is to be withdrawn, and not employed again either on the Hong- kong Maose line or on the Maobo-Canton line, Indo-Chines have estlers at $62 (preferred and-deferred combined), while London quotes-
