SANITARY BOARD.
A special meeting of the Sanitary Board was held yesterday to consider a report by the Colonial Veterinary Surgeon that rinderpest had broken ont on the Dairy Farm premises at Kai Lung Wau. The Veterinary Surgeon alatod six cows were affected and these had been put in the hospital shed and the contacts inoculated. On the motion of the President, seconded by Mr. Sholton Hooper, the plaas was declared an infected ares.
