By eleven o'clock the first of the 850 guests bidden to the luncheon began to arrive at the Sheriffs in their obed flanking the Lord Mayor, Guildhall, and Rambled in the library, the who sat in state to receive his distinguished gnea1R.

The Imperial procession was delightful—a | ecmbination of ingling movement and rich colour, with the striking figures of the Kaisar. and Kalseria for its centre.
