Excellent weather favoured the ffth and last meeting of he Hongkong Gymkhaos Club on Saturday afternoon at Happy Vallay, and need- Isms to say, it was na successful as the best of its predecessors. There was a good attendance which included many ladies. Thọ card embracod seren events, and they afforded some good sport. HE. the Governor and Lady. Lugard accompanied by Captain Ogle, A.D.C., and M. A. J. Brackenbury, arrived about the middle of the programme and were welcomed with the usual heartiness, the band of the 3rd Middlesex Regiment, which was in attendance during the afternoon, playing the National Anthem. For tunately there were no accidents to mar the afternoon's pleasure, though Mr. Jordan, who rode for the first time at this meetings, was thrown by his mount, but as it was one which nose of the other riders favoured, it was probably the expected which happened in this case Results are appended.
