KOWLOON CHILDREN'S SPORTS.
The members of the Kowloon Cricket Clab must have felt smply rewarded for their pains by the sight of so many happy children on their ground on Saturday afternoon. The occasion wee the second annual children's sports promoted by this club, and ss before, the event was most successful. The young people revelled in the opportunities for enjoyment, and whether engaged in the sports themselves or following. up the clowns, they all seemed well pleased with themedyes. ANNUAL POLICE REPORT.
The annual report of the Captain-Superiat endent of Police for the year 18 is published in the Gazete. It shows that the total of all cases reported to the Police was 11,144, as against 11,17 in 1905, being a decrease of 373 or 3.3 per cent. In the division of these cases into serious and minor offeneos, there appesare un increase, as compared with 19%, of $19 cases or 11.09 per cent in the former, and a decrease of 722 cases of 8.16 per orat. In the latter. The increase, as compared with 1905 in serious offences, of 34 is shown as follows:---
