This neigbourhood is fast becoming a large and populated suburb, a sigalfont fast being.. that whereas five years so there were only four European houses in the vicinity, there are How nearly ons hundred. The district is also considered to be cooler in summer than the Bubbling Well Road, as the breeze comes direct from the river and is not interrupted by the vast asbes of houses in the Settlement. Net only is it well situatod for European residences, but being adjacent to the Park, now being rapidly completed, it seems probabls that with okeep tram communication, low rentals and attractive surroundinge, any uccupants of town hous s, especially families, wenld gladly ex hang their present, dwellings for residenons aharoid dangers to children, who could th refore frequent the Park without having to traseras the crowded streets; in furtherance of this object, the Directors are prepared to Douaider any suggestions while building, a regards planning moms, that any prospective tearat may bring to their notice.
Attention is also directed to the advantages of residences adjoining the new Part, and the Rife Range. The Public Swimming Bath, Crickel, Football, Lawn Tennis Groads and Bowling Greens in such close proximity, should stract considerable support, especially as in course of a few years, many of the lawns will be shaded by trees, a feature which is impossible on the Rice Course.
