TAKE NOTICE that undo No. 5 of the DOMESTIC CLEANLINESS and VENTILATION BYE LAWS (as curled), every domestic building or part of such building within the Central Division of the City of Victoria, sad the Western Division of Kau- lung, occupied by members of more than ons family must be CLEANSED and LIME- WASHED THROUGHOUT by the owner during the months of March and April.
NB-The word throughout" used in this varies wears that the houses should be lime- washed in reepoot of all the walls of each room and staircase, all cubicle partitions, stair undersides of roofs both in main buildings, casings and stair linings, all ceilings and the offices and servants' quarters and inclusive of verandahs.
The backyard should have its containing walls linewisbed up to the level of the first
loor.
Carved, painted or polished woodwork in gand condition, however, need not be 'Lima washed, but must be Cleansed.
