Major General's acceptance of His Excellency's offer, upon the terms mentioned in your letter, " The Buildings to be taken for a period of vizi " two years, renewable at the pleasure of the officer " in command of Her Majesty's Froops, at the " present annual rental of £333.6.8 (three "hundred and thirty-three pounds, six shillings, "and eight pence sterling), to be paid into the " Colonial Treasury quarterly; all repairs to be at "the charge of the Military Department after possession is taken, and to be delivered up in good and weather-proof ander.

I have to request that the necessary may be given to the Surveyor General to place the "Albany in a proper state of repair so
