THE NATION'S BALANCE SHEET.
THE HONGKONG DAILY PRESS, THURSDAY, JANUARY 31ST, 1987.
In a day or two the Imperial Diet will begin its Twenty-third Session, and will have to consider by far the largest Budget of national revenue and expenditure aver placed before it by the Government. A few days ago, following the castom in vogue in this country, the principal members of both Houses of the Diet were invited to meet the reprosentatives of the Government at the Premier's official residence Hero both leers and Representatives listened to an exposition of the Badget figures and the Governmont's policy in drawing up the manual statement of accounts. The Government has admittedly had a diffoult task in the work of adjusting revenue expenditure. When the departmental estimates were first submitted to the Minister for an extensive Finance they were subject to pruning process before they could be accepter for fasl revision. A DOUBLE CURE BY
CUTICURA REMEDIES
"My little boy was affected with eczema about the head and face. He had it from birth, but is broke out badly when he was about three months old, and then we couldn't get any rest with him night or day. It went on like that till he was six months old, and then I made up my mind to try Cuticura Remedies and see if it would stop the itching. The first time I used the Cuticura Soups, Cutiara Ointment and Cuticura Resolvent, he got relief and got a nice sleep. I went on with it til it was cleared off the head. I had to cut all his curls off to got at it to cleanse it. His head and face were, all a raw mass, He used to serate and make it bleed dreadfully, till 1 tied pieces of catton on his hands to prevent bin harte ing himself.
When I took my little girl to the doctor for the warne trouble, he couldn't do her any good, so I didn't take the boy, but the girl hasn't a blemish now as used the Cuticura Remedies for her, and she is now on her fourth year and the boy is on his third year. Now he has a lovely head of curls and the girl too. Mrs. W. Starling, Thurning, East Dereham, Ing. Mar. 6, 3900,"
