He appears to be making a prolonged stay in Europe where he is continuing his investigations into the question of earrency reform which has been perplexing the minds of so many Far Eastern residents for years past While in America he had the good fortune of assuring a brief chat with President Roosevelt and introduced the subject, and since his stay in London he has called upon several of the leading bankers for the purpose of gleaving further views upon the intrica question. He tells ma that he will not be rafarning to Hongkong for more time asbe finds plenty to occupy his attention in England and on the Continent. Sested at the tabis presided over by Sir Thomas Jackson was quite a large circle of familiar faces. On the right of the genial head of the Hongkong and Shanghai Bank was Mr. Gershom Stowort, who appeared in the beat of health and was as jovial as ever.
