Berkeley said he had great planeurs in asking his Lordsbip (the Chief Justice) to admit to the bar of the Colony Mr. Raphael Bellies, who was a member of the Inner Temple, Mr. Belilios was called in 1913, and was a member of Northumberland Centre. It gave the speaker additional pleasure in moving this gentleman's admission to the bar from the fact that he was the son of an old and highly esteemed Colonist, the late Hon. Mr. E. R. Bulillos, C.M.G., who for many years lived here, and whose works of charity and other public good to the Colony stand as a monument to his memory for all
