Mr. H. J. Bailey (of Messrs. Johnson, Stokes and Master) said the application was that a bankruptcy ouler made in 1903 be annulied on the ground that he was an infant. Tho ordor wan made against a dem, of which it was thought this infant was one of the partners.
Mr. F. X. d'Altada o Castro, appeared for the petitioning creditor, and admitted the facts. At the time the polition was fled they were not aware of the fact that that infant was an infant, as all the debtors were out of the Colony. Tho firm kalenged to the debtor's father and when he died bis was curried on the business for the benefit of the fursily. He had no objection to the order being onnulled so far as the infant was concerned.

THE INVEterate CHINESE RADIT." As the result of a polics raid on No. 17, Contro Street, Sergeant Gordon proceeded against 34 natives on a charge of playing paikau in the guid house.
They were found guilty, and the fret defondant, the keeper, was ordered to pay a fine of $109, while each of the others was mulcted in the sum of $2.

A CIGARETTE CAUSES TROUBLE.
A sailor, named Kelly, residing at the Sailors Home, charged another by the name of Anderson with asaanit.
From this evidence it appeared that the complainant was playing cards at the Home when the defendant entered and picked up a cigarette which Kelly, after lighting, had placed on the table. He also pocketed a packat belonging to Kelly. The complaint cold him be a "ging it strong," and demanded the return of his cigarettes. These were handed back, but aftor further argament the defendant struck Kelly a blow on the face..
Ho was found guilty of the charge anil ordered to pay a fine of 85, the alternative being fourteen days' imprisonment.
