CIVIL SERVICE 2ND ELEVEN. This friendly match took place at Happy Valley on Saturday, and ended in a substantial victory for the Diocesan School by 70 runs and wickets. For the winners special mention should be made of the sort batting of J. C. Frewin, a lad of 13 years, who defied the bowling of the opposing side for a considerable time, and scored i rana, G. Evans also batted well. The innings of Mr. Brawn was a fiue display of baiting. The Diocesan scholars felded very smartly and Mr. Wong bowled well.
