I had hoped to make some statement to you before this, but I have believed it was best to wait until I could give you a final conchesion in regard to the financial condition of the Society based on full investigation. This or laine the delay in ecmmunicating with you.

On June 31 last, under the condition that should have full power as to me and methods, and with no pledges of any kind to any ons, I was elected by the Directors of the Society as CHAIRMAN of the BOARD, and at one assumed the active management of tue Society's Afiime.
