17 The 25th and 5th instant, have been declared Public Holidays. On the 25th inst... The Post Office will be entirely closed. On the 20th instant, the Post Office will open trom 8... until the despatch of the United States Mail, at 11 s.n., and there, will be one delivery and one collection of letters as on Sunday.

In the event of the English Mail arriving from Europe, the Post Office will open for one hour after its arrival and there will be one delivery,

The Money Order Offico will be entirely elceed.

The Delhi, with the English mail of the 29th December, left Singapore on Saturday, the 20th instant, st 6 p.m. and may be expected here to-morrow, at 8 sm.

This poket brings replies to letters despatched from Hongkong on the 2nd November, and the parcel mails cloved in London for despatch by the all sex route on the 20th December and for despatch overland on the 27th December.

A Mail for MACAO, is despatched par 8.8. Wingeha on wook-days at 5.00 p.za. Cu Sunday the mail for Dincar le closed at 8.00 a.

Meile for Canton, Sanghui and Wuchow are closed on week-dayg at 7.30 am. and at 5.00 p.m.

Main for "CANTON, NAMTAO, SANBUM, "KONGMOON, KumchUE, SAMORDI, and *WUCAH KEB alowed every weekday, at 5 p.m. On Sundays the mails are closed at 9 a.m.
