A PRISONER'S DEATH.

Sitting at the magistracy yesterday, Mr. F. A. Hazeland with the following jury: Messre Johu Osborne, L. J. C. Andorson, and George L. Danaan, conducted an inquiry into the circumstaness of the death of Taug Tai, a coolie, who died in Vistoria Gaol on Bauday.

His Worship explained that he was requirad by law to hold an inquiry into the cause of the death of every prisoner who died in Victoria Gael,
