Christans Cards (if premfì at Printed Matter rates) must be posted either in an unfastened euvolope or in a cover which can be cosily removed for the purpose of examination without breaking any seal or tearing my paper or separating any adhering surfaces.
Covers may be Bocured with string.
Cards in olonal envelopes with watched ends or cornera cut will be taxed us letters, The best method of sending cards is to enclose then in au envelope with the flap turned in. The Prinz Heinrich, with the Gorman mall of the 24th October, left Singapore on Friday, the 17th inst., at 6 p.m., and my be expected here on or about Wednesday, the 22nd inst. at daylight.
The Empress of Japan, with the Canadian mail beft Shanghai on Sunday, this 19th inst., at 3 pan, and may be expected to on Wednesday, the 22nd insi, at$ 2.m.
Mails for Candos, Samshur and Wucnow are closed on week-days at 7,30 km. On Sunday the mail for Mano in closed at 8 a.m.
Mails for Namrat, BaguĖ, "Kovamoor, "Komchuk, "Bamshoi, *WuCROW nod *CANTON ará closed every molday, at 5 p.m. On Sundays the walls are closed at 9 s.m.
