CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR PARCEL MAILS, HOMEWARD. Paroels for the United Kingdom vla Gibraltar posted up to 5 p.w, on Friday, the 3rd of November are due in London about the 11th December, and those posted up to 5 p.m. on Friday, the 17th November are due in London on Christmas Morning.

With an additional fes of U cents parcels may be forwarded via Brindisi and posted before 3pm on the 17th Novombor would accompany the lotor mail duo in London on the 18th December Parcols intended for New Year's delivery should also be forwarded by the mail of the 17th November, as the parcel mail of the let of December is not das in London till the 8th of January via Gibraltar and the 2nd January via Brindisi. The rates of postage on ordinary parcels are as follows

The Sachsen, with the Gorman mail of the 26th September left Singapors on Thursday, the 26th inst, at 8 n.m., sud may be expected here on or about Monday evening, the 30th inst.

The Tourane, with the French mail of the 29th September loft Biogsporo on Friday, the 27th inst., at 4 pm, and may be expected here an or about Friday, the 3rd Nov. This packet brings replies to lattara despatched from Hongkong on August 28th,
