Eclipso. The Lantern, which is painted white, surmounts the native tower on the unit of Tower Hill; and the Light, which is elevated 175 foot above the level of the sea, should be visible in clear weather at a distance of 193 miles, except where it is obscured by land.
The Light shows Bed from S, 34° W. te S. 8. 59 W. White from S 411 W, to 414W. Red from 8. 59" W to N. 80 W. except where it is obscured by the Islands of Kungkungtao. While from N, 80 W, to N. 7 W. and Red from N. 72 W. to whore it is cut off by tha land. It also shows Red, within the Harbour enly, from S. 25° F to S. 34° W.
