ALLEGATIONS AGAINST TOKYO LANDOWNERS.

LATEST STEAMER MOVEMENTS.

beI.G.M.str. Preussen, carrying the German: mails with dates from Berlin of the 18th July, left Singaporo bn Friday at 6 pm, and may be expected here on Wednesday, the 16th inst. at € 3.00.

The O.F.B. str. Express of India arrived at Shanghai at 9 am, on Saturday, the 12th Aug., and left again at 8 pm, same day for Hongkong, and is due hero at 11 an. to-morrow.

The C.P.B. str. Empress of China left Yoko hamia for

Vancouver on Friday, the 11th inst p.m. which left Hongkong on the 12th July and The Silk ex C.PR. Empress of Japan, Yokohama en the 2nd July, arrived in Now York on Wednesday, the 9th Aug., thus making transit of 28 days from Hongkong and 18 days from Tokobama.

The str. Zafire left Manila on Friday, the The E. & O. a. Céylom left Singapore for this port on the 11th instant at 6 a.m.

The J.-C.-J. L. s.a. Timati left Macassar for this port on the 11th inst, and may be exported here on the 19th inst,
