The American mail ex P.M. steamer Mongolia has been transferred to M. M. steamor Tenbin which is expected to arrive here on or about the 17th inst.

The sa. Dumbeu, with the French mail, of the 17th ult, left Singaporo on Tuesday, the IIth inst, at 1 pm, and may be expected here on or about Tuesday, the 18th inst. This packet brings replies to letters despatched from Hongkong on the 11th February.

Mails for Canton, Samshul, Wechow and MACAO will be closed on week days at 7,30 every morning. On Sundays the mail for Macs will be closed at 8 am.

Mails for NAMTAO, SANBUE, Kovamoos, KUMCHUK, SAMSHUI, WECHow and *CANTON will be closed every weekday. at p.m. On Bnadays the mails will be closed at 9 a.m.

No mails are despatched to these places on Baturday evenings, unless previously notified,
