The favourite, Cotsyrold, won hand-omely, and was led is by Mr. Landals amid applause, The Hon. Mr. Gresson, rider, received hearty congratulations. Mr. G. H. Potts had another winner, Prairie King, in the German Cup, the pony paying a dividend of 833.70. The Gold Coast Cup was won by Ca Canny, its owner, Mr. Johnstone, up.

Creomo came in the Professional Cap, paying a dividend of $56.40. In the Challenge Cap an objection was raised by Mr. Gresson on Ardpatrick, the favourite, against Mr. Vida on Aladdin for jamming him against the raili and knocking his leg out of the stirrap. The objection was over-ruled. Mr. Johnstono was thrown from Polko when entering the streight, and foll into the ditch, whers luckily, there was Bome water. He had a nasty fell, nevertheless, bruising his lag, but the injury, fortunately, was not of a very serious nalere.

The Forge Cup was won by Highland Chief and the Nary Cup by Norman King. Jungle King came in first in the Racing Stakos.
