BANK-Hongkong and Shanghais have sold at $710 and $715, and close in further reqnost at the higher rate. London has advanced to £7 55. Od. Nationals are unchanged with sellers at $39.
MARINE INSURANCER.- Unions have ad. vanced to $70 with sales aud farther buyers. China Traders are easier with sales at $58) ex the dividend of $4 for the year anded 30th April, North Chinas Bare 1904, paid on the 7th inst. been booked at Tis. 96 and are now in request; at Tha. 2. Shanghai quotes sellers at Tis. 100. Yangtzes and Cantous ura without change.
FIRE INSURANCES.-Hongkonga continue in request at $335. Chinas have again been booked at $90, and more shares are wanted.
SHIPPING. Hongkong, Canton and Macaos are easier with sales at $29 and probable further sollers at the rate. Indo-Chicas have ruled steady with sales at $128 and $129 carb and for the settlement, closing firm with caak buyers at $128. Douglases bave been booked at $34. China and Manilas and Star Ferries are with- put change. Shell Transports can be procured at 25/6.
REFINERIES-China Sugars have weakened and sales down to $232 are reported, market closing with sollers at $233 Lazous bave ex- perienced a sharp rise, and after sales at $17, $19, $20 and $21 are in further demand at the latter rate.
MINING. Raubs, after sales at $5, have. weakened to 544 sellers.
DOCKS, WHARVES, AND GODOWNS.-Hong- kong and Whampoa Docks have eased off to $215 at which rate however more shares are wanted and for a small lot probably $2:6 could
