for vessels using the CHINESE: ENGINEERING & MINING
COMPANY'S PREMISES.
1. Vessels to be placed and remain alongside the Wharf of their own risk and expense.
2. The C E. & M, Co. not guarantee a barth, and vessels will take their turn to lead or discharge if the wharf, accommodation is aceupied of arrival, proference in all cases being given to vessels owned or chartered by them.
3: Outside anchor tá te taken inboard as soon" as the vossol is berthed.
4. Every assistance will be given to vessels coming alongside or leaving, but the C. E. & 3. Co. will not bo responsible for the mooring of the vessel.
5. All damage done by vessels coming to, or while at, or when leaving the wharf, to be made good at. ship's expense.
6. Vessels must leave the wharf ur shift from ogo berth to another humediately on being requested to do so by the Port Superintendent. 7. All labour for loading or discharging cargo must ho dupplied by the C. E. & M. Co.
8. Tho vessel's discharges to commence DE BOGA as possible after she is moored alongside, and to ba continued from sunrise to sunset (weather permitting) each day until completed. Vessels to discharge at night and on Sundaye if requested to do so by the Port Superintendent. Any stoppage or detention on the part of the ship will subject her to an additional charge of | Taols 40, for the first day or part thereof, and Taels 50, for every sub equent day that she is so detained, over and above the tariff rate for wharfage.
