. CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR'S PARCELS. Parools for the United Kingdom: via Gibraltar posted before 3 p.m. on Friday, the 4th Novembor, sro due in Loudon about the 11th December, and those posted before 3 p.m. on the 18th of November are due in London on Christmas morning.

With an additional foo of 60 venis parcels may be sent via Brindisi, and if posted before p.m. on the 18th of November would accompany the loltar mail, which is due in London on the 19th of December. Parcele intended for New Year's delivery should also be forwarded by the mail of the leth of November, as the mail por 8.8. Chusan, which leaves hero on the 3rd of December is not due in London till the 8th of Jaunary rin Gibraltar, and the 2nd of January via Brindisi, The rates of posluge ou onlinery parcels are as follows :-

Coins

All parcels containing jewellery or any article of goki or silver must be insured, all inepred parools must be sealed. The seals must bear the impression of a device or private mark, must not be used for sealing purposes.

As it is unlikely that any M.M. steamer wil leave for Europe before the middle of December, all correspondenes for Europe, etc., will be sent on by the first English or German mail.

The Siberia, with the American mail, left Shanghai on Tuesday, the lat inst., at 2 pay, and may be expected hore to-day, at about 6p..

The Ckusen, with the English mail of the 7th ult, loft Singapore, on Sunday, the 30th ult. at 8 am, and may be expected here to-morrow. This packet brings replies to letters despatched from Hongkong on the 6th September.
