Petition was on the 5th day of February, 1904, presented to the Supreme Court of Hongkong by the abore named Company to confirm a special resolution unanimously passed at an Extraordinary General Meating of the aaid Company held on the 16th day of Decem- ber, 1909, and subsequently unimously con- Armed at an Extraordinary General Meeting of the maid Company held on the 31st day of December, 1909, and whish resolution runs as follows:-
(1) That clause 3 of the Memorandum of Association be altered by substituting for sab clause (a) the following sub olauss, namely:-

To manufacture soil and supply any kind of illuminant in the Foreign Concessions and Settlements in Tientsin, Tientsin native city, Feling, Tengku, Taku, Tongshan, Peltaiho, Chingwantao, Shanhaikwan and any other city town or place botwoon or in the neighbourhood of any of the said places cr elsewhere in North China and to carry on the business of a Gas or Oil or Elootrie Light works in all their branches and to manufacture or generate gas or electri- city or any other illuminant, And by inserting after sub clause (f.) three Low sub clauses to be lettered (g.), (h) and
