The object of this Company is to erlublish at Tringtan (Kuurtschou) "The Germania Brewery," to be equipped with the most modern machinery and plaut, and capable of turning ont 16,900 Hectolitors, or 333,000 Gallour per
year.
SUPPLY OF WATER. The Compatiy have been fortunato ja noquir- ing a very convenient piece of land glues to the Bow Municipal - Waterworks. The supply of water on the Company's property is more than su Bojout. A careful test in this respect w made in February fast (the dry aison at Tsing tau), when one of the wells on the Company's premises was pumped out, fresh water flowing in at the rate of 31 tona per hour. The water itself is very suitable for brewing purposes as shown by the report made by Mr. Naba), the Director of the Goverment analytical labora tory at Taiugtan, Permission to start the Brewery has been granted by the Imperial Government of Kiautseion, who have promised to further the objects of the Company by every menos in their power.
BREWING MASTER. The promoters will have the services of Mr. W.Coblitz, of Manich, as Brewing Master. Mr. ment as Chief Brewer with the Yebisa Hrawery of Tokyo. During that period the Yebian Company, now the largest Brewery in Japan, bave increased their aslux from 28,000 to 75,000 Hestoliters a year. Mr. Coblitz has examined the Tsingtan water on the spot and being fully convinced of its suitability, beth 38 regards quality and quantity, be bas every.con@dence in the succoss of the undertaking and subscribes for a considerable number of shares.
WORKING EXPENSES AND PROJPECTS.
After carefully going into the question of working expenses the promoters fool esukident in stating that, assuming a turn-out of 13,000 Hectoliters only, the resulting profit will allow of a dividend of at least 15 per cent, on the capital of the Company. A comparison with the figures of the two largest Japanese Compa- nies will be of interest.
