During that period the Yubisu now the largest Brewery in Japan, Coupany, have increased their sales from 28,000 to 75,000 Hestoliters a year. Mr. Coblitz has examin the Tsingtau water on the spot and being fully convinced of its anitability, both as regards quality and quantity, be has every confidence in the access of the undertaking and subscribes for a considerable number of shures.
WORKING EXPENSES AND PROSPECTS.
After carefally going into the question of working expenses the promoters feel confident in stating that, assuming a turn-out of 10,000 Hectoliters only, the restilting profit will allow of a dividend of at least 15 per cent. on the capital of the Company. A comparison with the figures of the two largest Japanese Compa nies will be of interest.

MARKETS FOR THE COMPANY S OUTPU1.
A good demand is anticipated from the military and naval garrison at Tsingtan, which numbers several thousand man. This number is not likely to be decreased in the near fatars. In addition the chips of the Imperial Germaa navy which frequently toach at Tsingtau may reasonably be expected to become regular customers of the Company. Among the more important markets Shanghai. Hongkong, Port Arthur, Tientsin and Chefoo may be montioned as offering a wide and remunerative field for the Company a operation.
