The Company have been fortunate in acquir- ing a very convenient piece of land close to the Daw Municipal Waterworks. The supply of water on the Company's property is more than Bufotout. A cireful test in this respect was mude in February last (the dry season at Ting- tau), when one of the wells on the Company's premises was pumped out, fresh water flowing At the rate of 3 tous per hour. The water itself is very suitable for brewing purposes as shown by the report made by Mr. Nebel, the Director of the Government analytical labora- tory at Taingtan Permission to start the Browery has been granted by the Imperial Government of Kiautschon, who have promised to Farther the objects of the Company by evory means in their power.
