SUPPLY OF WATER.
The Company hare baas fortunate in acquir. ing a very convenient piece of land close to the now Municipal Waterworks. The supply of water on the Company's property is more than suficient. A careful text in this respect was made in February last (the dry wason at Tsing taa), when one of the walls on the Company's premises was pumped out, fresh water flowing in at the rate of 34 tous per hour.. BREWING MASTER.
The promotors will have the services of Mr. W.Coblitz, of Munich, as Brewing Muster. Mr. Coblitz has just completed a five-years' ongage- wout as Chief Brewer with the Yobisa Brewery of Tokyo. During that period the Yebisu Company, now the lurent Brewery in Japan, have increased their scles from 28,000 to 75,000 | Hetohters a year. Mr. Coblitz has canmined the Tsingtan water on the spot and being fully convinced of its suitability, both as regards quality and quantity, he has every confidence in the success of the undertaking and subscribes for a considerable number of shares.
WORKING EXPENSES AND PROSPECTS. After carefully going into the question of working expenses the promoters feel confident in stating that, assuming a turn-out of 13,000 Hectoliters only, the resulting polit will allow of a dividend of at least 15 per cent, on the capital of the Company. A comparison with the figures of the two largest Japanese Compa.
