Jace honoured with goudhordshift commands requified in that addington's letter of the 31 tt Ultimo, stating that he was directed to transmit to me a despatch and its enclosure received frous bet John Dairs, requesting your Lordship's instructions with reference to two questions which have arisen in China;
Forster as to British Subjects receiving Consular appointments in China from the Goods of Foreign Countries, and,
Secondly, -
– as to the employment by British Subjects of bekels under freigh Hags; and to request that I would take the
to same into consideration, and report to your Lordship my opinion, on the points adverted to by sir Joker Davis.
