SHANGHAI COMPANY

MEETINGS.

The annual meeting of shareholders of the Shanghai and Hongkow Wharf Co, Limited, was hold last week. The profit and less account shows a credit balance of taels 276,579.74 out of which it was solved to pay a final dividend of tuele 12 per share on the increased number of 2,000 shares, to not aside tools 15,000 for ordinary repairs and to carry forward tools 21,579.74 to next year's account. This result was stated by the Chairman to be the best in Le records of the Company. It was resolved to pay a bonus of 10 per cent, to the foreign staff of the Company.
